Who manufactures Buraq systems? Where are they made?
Buraq RF Solutions Private Limited, a first-party manufacturer in Rawalpindi, Pakistan. Every subsystem is designed, built and qualified in-house.
What is an RF jamming system?
A system that transmits RF energy to deny hostile radio links. Buraq RF jamming systems are AI-based: detection, classification and denial decisions are made by an AI core. The Buraq AI Core decides in under a microsecond and denies hostile links while friendly links keep working.
Does Buraq shoot down drones?
No. Buraq uses soft defeat: the drone is repelled or brought to a controlled landing, with no shrapnel or debris.
What is the difference between Buraq 1.0 and Buraq-Air 1.0?
Buraq 1.0 is a vehicular jammer with a protective dome of approx. 75 m radius. Buraq-Air 1.0 is a man-portable anti-drone gun with approx. 3 km detection and 2 km defeat.
Will it jam our own radios?
No. Selective denial keeps friendly links working and denies hostile links.
Can we buy individual subsystems?
Yes. Each of the nine subsystems is available on its own for integration or replacement.
Who maintains the system after delivery?
Buraq does, for the full life of the system: maintenance, repair, traced spares, operator training, qualification and updates.
